I started my Miami real estate business in 2015. My early career was as a resale agent focused on seller representation. A lot of the listings I took on had been sitting on the market with another agent who could not get them sold. I stepped in, ran a more aggressive marketing playbook, and closed them. That "from listed to sold" rescue work is still the foundation of how my listing side runs today.

The practice has grown from there. I transitioned to representing resale buyers on regular Miami homes and condominiums, and in recent years my focus has increasingly shifted to pre-construction buyer representation for both global and domestic clients. I carry a 5-star Google rating, speak fluent English and Spanish with basic Portuguese, and publish market resources in multiple languages to serve the international buyer pool that makes up roughly half of Miami's luxury market.

Professional Background

How the Practice Grew

I started in Miami in 2015 as a resale agent working with sellers. In that first phase of the practice, a significant portion of my listings came from owners who had been on the market with another agent, could not get to a closing, and needed a different approach. I built the playbook that still drives my listing side today during those years: proactive outbound marketing, disciplined pricing, weekly seller updates, and direct agent-to-agent outreach instead of passive waiting on MLS.

As the business grew, I added resale buyer representation. Helping owners sell taught me what buyers look for, and that translated naturally into advising buyers on regular resale homes and condos across Miami-Dade and Broward. Same principles, just on the other side of the table: read every document, stress-test the numbers, and never walk a client into something I would not buy myself.

More recently, my focus has shifted toward pre-construction buyer representation for global and domestic clients. Miami's pre-construction pipeline has become one of the most important in the country, demand from international buyers is reshaping the luxury segment, and Florida Senate Bill 4-D is changing how buyers evaluate legacy condo stock against new builds. That is where a lot of my current advisory work sits, and why I built the LuxuryDade editorial library around buyer education.

In 2021, I spent 14 months living in New York to get licensed in New York State and work there. All the deals were in New York City: Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. I returned to Miami full-time and kept building the practice here. My active license and active practice today are in Florida.

My primary transactional coverage is Miami-Dade and Broward. For Palm Beach and other parts of Florida or the United States, I refer clients into the Compass nationwide network so they get matched to an agent whose primary market actually is that area. That is a better outcome than me taking work outside my expertise, and it keeps my time focused on the markets I run every day.
